School Dinners
Our friendly kitchen staff work closely with their colleagues at Winscombe to produced delicious meals which are then brought back to Weare daily. Our menu is extremely popular with our pupils who look forward to choosing from a variety of options which includes a nutritious hot dinner every day.
- If your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 they are entitled to the UIFSM (universal infant free school meal). Please obtain a form from the school office to enable the school to claim the cost of this back.
- The cost of a school meal for Years 3 & 4 will be £2.80
- Children in receipt of FSM (Free School Meals) through Pupil Premium will not be charged for meals in years 3 and 4 as long as they remain eligible.
Our school meals are provided by Aspens.
They provide hot meals throughout the academic year, with special themed menus and the inclusion of a varied salad bar. This aligns closely with our ‘Healthy Schools’ award, with the greater choice and variety proving popular with our pupils. Should your child have specific dietary needs, at the bottom of the page you can find a link to an Aspens Intolerance form.

All menus are available through the website and operate on a credit basis.
You are able to order your lunches up until 8.30 am on the day.
It is your responsibility to log on to the website and cancel any food orders if your child is absent from school that day.
