Welcome to Bumblebees Class

Welcome to Bumblebees Class, with Mrs Malcolm as class teacher. Bumblebees is a warm, happy and nurturing environment where children begin their school journey with confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.

Through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, children learn through a balance of play, exploration and adult-led activities. We encourage them to investigate, create, problem-solve and develop their independence in a stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment.

Early reading, phonics and mathematics are introduced in fun and engaging ways, while plenty of opportunities for imaginative play, creativity and outdoor learning help children develop socially, emotionally and physically.

Our Christian values are at the heart of everything we do, encouraging children to show kindness and respect for one another. We work closely with families to ensure every child feels happy, valued and supported as they make a positive start to their school journey.
